The core element of the WSP software family is the ProSig® planning system for planning and design of signal systems, cable systems and cable routes.
This system is successfully being employed in engineering offices, industrial railways, research and training of Deutsche Bahn as standard software.
The ProSig® software system comprises extensive functions for support of the preparation of track layout plans, signalling layout plans and the preparation of schematic and cabling plans.
Saved data structures allow the execution of feasibility studies and automatic plan generation as well as easy evaluation of drawings for the creation of bills of material.

Your ProSig Team
WSP Infrastructure Engineering GmbH
Dear ProSig Users, Ladies and Gentlemen,
no sooner did we take a decent step forward with our new system ProSig 7 EPU / PlanPro than Christmas is right around the corner.
But not only that ... there's also another complex topic called BIM.
BIM (Building Information Modeling) currently permeates all areas of engineering and has thus reached railway construction planning as well.
In 2017 we will address this topic more closely and determine in cooperation with our contacts how BIM can benefit planning of signaling and safety systems and vice versa.
As a foretaste we have transferred our “classic Signal-Christmas-Tree” into the 3D world; see picture.
For now, though, we wish you pleasant holidays and a happy new year 2017.
Your ProSig Team
On the 29th and 30th of September 2016 the 22nd expert conference for rail signaling and safety systems was held at the Technical University of Dresden.
This year’s topic “Consistent data management in interlocking station planning” brought forth many interesting presentations and conversations during the breaks.
Our presentation on ProSig with regard to this consistent data management took place at the beginning of the 2nd day.

Once again the ProSig team was busy at the IVV’s stand this year.
From the 20th through the 23rd of September we were on hand to present our software. As in the previous years, this offer was frequently made use of. ProSig users and interested people from all over Germany and beyond were shown and explained the latest developments. We were particularly delighted by the great number of students, and thus “ProSig newcomers”, who came to visit.
Under InnoTrans 2016 you will find this year’s pictures.

Dear ProSig-Users, Business Partners and Colleagues,
after a moving year 2015 we wish all of you and everybody on our staff Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
This year, we’ve made some significant headway. Not only did we update our existing Version ProSig 6.30, we also launched our new system ProSig 7 EPU. More ...
In addition to a well-designed stand we could present two more highlights on this year’s InnoTrans:
We like to thank all our visitors, please find a small photo series as a little souvenir here.

For over 15 years, the ProSig® software system has been the standard planning tool for control and safety technology applied throughout Germany.
Following the current standardization project "PlanPro" of Deutsche Bahn, we’ve spent the last two years on the development of an expert system using the original CAD-oriented ProSig® system.
Under the brand name " ProSig® EPU", we offer the 7.0 version with a range of what we call "Extended Planning Unit". Not only do these functions support the design of safety technology plans, they also offer direct support in the professional design of signaling and control systems.
The support of these functions ranges from creating basic to more complex designs, including the integration of equipment components, track route planning and flank protection. Last but not least, the system enables export of all objects within a ProSig® EPU project to LST/PT1 Excel tables.
Come see us at InnoTrans 2014, where we will present you ProSig® 7.0 EPU in all its details coming "straight out of our software shop".
You will find us in Hall 62 Stand 123

The conference on the topic of "ETCS in Germany" took place on the 26th and 27th of September at the Technical University of Dresden. We contributed to this event series with the presentation "ProSig planning support for ETCS Level 2".
27.05.2013 - 14:40
May 23 and 24 marked the occasion of ProSig Customer Day 2013, held once again at the Locomotive-Event-Park (Lokpark VBV) in Braunschweig, Germany. The main theme was extended planning support (EPU) in ProSig regarding Deutsche Bahn's projects "PlanPro" and "ETCS Level 2". For our business partners, for ProSig users in engineering companies, as well as for the regional divisions of Deutsche Bahn AG, it turned out to be two highly informative and diversified days.
A summary illustrated with many pictures you will find here.

This year ProSig is celebrating its 15th anniversary as the standard software application at Deutsche Bahn.
Back in 1998, DB started incorporating ProSig as a software application for ESTW system design as part of their planning guidelines. Ever since, it has served as the primary distribution and implementation tool for form and quality standards at DB.
